Gregory R. Snead

LCSW

My passion lies in assisting and advocating for males from the ages of 16 to 60 and their families. I have extensive experience working with a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance abuse, marital conflict, and PTSD. I also have experience working with individuals diagnosed with severe persistent mental illnesses such as bipolar disorder, personality disorders, major depression, and schizophrenia.

Throughout my career, I have worked in various settings, including correctional facilities, school systems, and assertive community treatment teams. I am committed to helping men and their families start their journey towards achieving their greatest sense of self. By providing therapy, education, and case management services to support their growth and well-being.

I believe in the power of therapy to help individuals make positive changes in their lives. By building a strong relationship with my clients and creating a safe and non-judgmental environment, I aim to support them in exploring their beliefs, thought patterns, relationships, and circumstances. I apply evidence-based practices, personal and professional experiences to create a customized plan to help my clients achieve their greatest sense of self.

I understand that therapy is not a quick fix, and it requires commitment and effort from both the client and myself. I encourage clients to continue their work outside of therapy sessions and to be completely honest about their state of mind. I am not afraid to challenge my clients and help them confront beliefs and behaviors that may be stopping them from achieving their greatest sense of self.
